Wix is a website builder that allows anyone to build a website without needing to have coding skills. With Wix, you can drag and drop elements around with your mouse to create a fully customizable website. It’s perfect for those who are just getting started in the online world, as well as those who want to create a website without having to learn a lot of difficult coding. In many ways, Wix is similar to WordPress, which is the most popular platform for creating blogs and websites.
When compared to other platforms Wix is in a league of its own. Here are some highlights of why you would want to try Wix: 1. Wix is easy to use; 2. Widgets are great; 3. Wix is best for beginners; 4. WordPress is more advanced.
Although I took some HTML courses in college, Wix was one of the first platforms I used to create websites for friends and clients. I did that because Wix was user friendly. The only thing I’d caution with using Wix is exporting your content in the event that Wix goes down.
Overall, Wix is good for anyone who is new to website design and does not want to deal with coding. Wix does allow for some use of custom code for those who are familiar with HTML and CSS, but it might not be what you are looking for long-term!
