What I’m watching during COVID-19

Since I’m able to spend more time with my family during this time, we have been able to play games and watch family movies. I’m thankful for every moment with them. I’m also thankful that I’m able to get some me time—something I haven’t had much time for before having to work and stay home.

When I do have time to watch tv, there are a few shows that I love to watch. One thing about Netflix and Amazon Prime video is the ability to binge watch shows. I’ll share three shows I’ve watched over the last few years.

1. Bosch

Bosch is an Amazon Prime Video Original. If you like cop shows then Bosch is the show for you. Follow the main character Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver) through the highs and lows of his life. I love how flawed yet skilled Bosch is in his profession as a decorated detective. His partner, my favorite character, is Jerry Edgar played by Jamie Hector. One of the reasons he is my favorite is his wit and demeanor. Secondly, he sure can dress.

Bosch currently has six seasons available! I promise you you will not be bored!

2. Black Lightning on CW and Netflix

I came across this show on the featured shows on Netflix. I’m not going to lie: I judged the show before giving it a chance. I’m glad I took the chance to watch it because it is one of my favorite shows to watch. The shows airs on the CW Channel and is in its third season and got renewed for a fourth season.

Binge Watch Black Lightning

The story centers around Jefferson Pierce and his family. In nutshell, Jefferson Pierce is a student saving principal by day and a crime fighting vigilante by night. Without giving to much information for those who have not watched the show, his two daughters are gifted as well. His wife is a gifted scientist who also plays a vital role on this show.

What’s a hero without his or her super suit? Their family friend Gambi is the man behind the Black Lightning suits. I like his character because I share his love for technology.

Gambi Black Lightning

Black Lightning is pack with action and has a pretty good storyline. The characters on the show are well-casted and you will even grow to like or love some of Black Lightning’s nemesis.

What shows are you watching during this time? Let me know in the comments.
